Being Rude or Being Polite

Being rude or being polite can make all the difference
I apologize if I have been rude
I don't know what you are going through
I especially don't know if you don't tell me

A person I look up to makes a point of being polite
He is not always kind, but he has manners
I would like to make a polite request
Please leave me alone, I would appreciate it

The sun is very polite to us
It is trying not to burn us
The natural balance is delicate
And I dance in slow motion

God is imbued with politeness
He is everywhere without being imposing
But sometimes when I am praying to him
Something else takes over

Is that allowed?
It seems kind of rude
Dear God, please grant me the serenity...
I am forever yours
